SURVIVAL ISLAND

During Survival Week the 5/6s were put into groups of 4 or 5 and work as a team on different activities to get off the island. Each person had to create an avatar with a special ability/character trait and one item in their pocket. Every team had to figure out how to use each person’s item and trait to survive on the island. During these two weeks the teachers gave their students tasks to earn points and if they reached 40 points they got to escape the island.

The goal of Survival Week was to learn how to work in group situations and work together effectively.

Working together can be hard sometimes but we all pushed through and in the end it worked out!

The activity that we loved was making miniature huts using resources outside.
