Children’s safety and wellbeing is all of our first priority. Ensuring our kids arrive at school safely is a joint community responsibility. Children’s school crossings are placed to help our children safely cross the road, especially on their way to/from school. Drivers must also take responsibility for parking safely at all times, especially around school crossings, and should be particularly cautious when driving in the vicinity of any school.
Whittlesea Council have asked us to share with the community the attached Parking & Safety Around Schools which has been developed to assist with advising parents/motorists about the relevant road rules, especially around schools. We ask that parents and community member who use parking and roads around the school take a few minutes to read this information.
